Raleigh Tax Day Tea Party!

NC Listen’s Director Ron Woodard will be speaking at the Raleigh Tea Party on April 15th as part of a protest against giving an amnesty to illegal immigrants.  Ron will also be discussing NC Listen’s efforts to stop the NC Community College Board from allowing illegal immigrants to attend our state Community Colleges, especially given the fact that we have 11% unemployment in North Carolina.  He also plan to poin out on “tax day” the fact that we are spending  $1 billion [yes a billion] of our tax dollars [net cost] to provide statewide social services to illegal immigrants and their dependents in North Carolina.

Please attend and bring your friends, and feel free to bring a protest poster/sign.

The Tea Party will be held on the grounds at the Capital Building in Raleigh [27601] at One East Edenton Street.  The event starts at 5pm and will go until about 7:30pm.  NC LISTEN will have an exhibit table at the event.  We are also assisting ALIPAC’s national effort to stop an amnesty as well.

If we don’t get involved now, then when? If we don’t take action, the other side wins.
