Stop illegals from enrolling in NC Community Colleges

At the end of this week the Rules Review Commission of the North Carolina Community College Board is on track to finalize a rule to allow illegal immigrants to enroll in the 58 campuses of our NC Community College System, in effect to help illegals become better educated to take jobs which belong to citizens and those legally present.
The current unemployment rate in North Carolina is 11%, so why would our NC Community College Board want to pass a rule now to assist illegal immigrants with education benefits/training (obviously to get a job) ? The cruelty in this is obvious, but can you imagine if you were unemployed and still paying taxes in general, and now your taxes are being used to fund enhanced adult education for people illegally in our Country so they could be in a better position to take jobs?
We have already encouraged enough letters to be sent to the Rules Review Commission, as part of the review procedure and met the threshold, to object to their plan and request a legislative review. WE will have to work on this during the upcoming session of the NC General Assembly. More to follow on that angle later.

Call Governor Bev Perdue’s office at (800) 662-7952 or (919) 733-5811 and remind her (or her staff) that during her campaign for governor she said frequently she was opposed to privileges for illegal immigrants, so why is she so quiet now while the NC Community College Board goes ahead with allowing illegal immigrants in our state Community Colleges, when so many citizens are unemployed [11% state unemployment rate] and need help ? INSIST SHE PUT PRESSURE ON THE BOARD TO STOP THIS NONSENSE BEFORE THEY MAKE THEIR FINAL RULE THIS FRIDAY !

I just found your site after hearing it mentioned on a new piece concerning the immigration law in Arizona. I would like more information and to join your cause. I am fed up with illegal immigrants taking the resources of this country that are desperately needed for by the legal people.
I think its insane to allow illegals to attend school , much less receive financial aid and instate status, while so many displaced legal workers need retraining and ways to better themselves.
I dont know that I agree 100% with the law in Arizona, and I understand some revisions have been made to help clarify them but I do think Governor Brewer needs our support for trying to do something that should have been done long long ago.
I am totally against our tax dollars being spent to educate people who have criminally invaded our state/country. I think ALL criminal invaders should be apprehended and made to return to their country(s) of origin…and…take their anchor babies with them! We cannot afford to raise their children for them either! If that means “profiling”..so be it!! Actually..THEY have profiled themselves by growing in such numbers that they have physically become THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM!! I also believe that the Dept of Immigration should be made to close it’s doors….they’ve only been acting as a welcoming committee…and THAT’S not their only job description! They have failed to perform the duties that their job requires of them. Oh..the money we could save if we did that.. and closed a few other overstaffed/pointless goverment departments. And we CANNOT afford to keep taking in people from other countries…period. And if the Fed Government won’t secure the borders of our nation…then We The People need to secure the borders of our individual states. I believe that would be our right as well…wouldn’t it.?
I am appalled when I read the “royalty” treatment the “criminals” in our state receive. No where else would they be permitted to cross the borders and be literally honored. We have got to stop this nonsense as it has gotten completely out of hand. The $388.00 our household contributes to the care of illegals, could very certainly be used for our own upkeep. Today I passed a road work crew and all the workers which numbered 7 were all Hispanic. I have been unemployed for over a year, and have sent out hundreds of applications. I would be pleased to stand on the side of the road holding a stop sign. Many of the jobs I have applied for require that I speak Spanish. I am not Spanish, I am an American who speaks English. These people are illegally in my country, and I have to speak their language to get a job…give me a break. We need to stop bowing to these people and toughen our laws. They are here to take our country over, and if we allow it, be for certain it will happen. Our road ways are already a prime example of Mexico, filled with trash and litter. Towns such as Middlesex and Zebulon should be forced to get rid of the Mexican businesses which have the appearance of Tejuana. The signs in Hispanic language needs to be removed and the stores closed. I am in favor of a large protest. Thank you for allowing me to vent.
